The DrCatalyst Story

Our founders are pharmacists, doctors, and healthcare leaders that ran our own clinics, pharmacies, and own our own EMR software. While we provided amazing technology and great care to patients and clinics, our clients kept asking to help them finding help in lowering their operating costs and avoid burnout and increase employee retention. So we opened our eyes to outsourcing in India and the Philippines, and we quickly realized that we could do it better and faster than those already in the remote staffing industry.


Over 12 years, DrCatalyst has grown from 3 to 1,100 remote employees spanning the United States, Philippines, India, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. We recruit, hire, train, administer monthly quality and compliance, provide account managers and product leads, and help build the best remote healthcare teams in the business. Call Center Skills and Tasks

When you find an amazing voice and an energetic personality the results are amazing! For smaller clients we can handle both inbound and outbound calls, but for multi-location and/or FQHC clients... It's best to have a multi-tiered system that could be;

  1. inbound calls and current patient scheduling;
  2. new patient coordinators who work on eligibility and patient enrollment packages in the call; and
  3. outbound services for surveys, appointment reminders, and managing your inbound patient lead list and conversion.

Document and Back Office Tasks and Skills

Documents can be confusing from one clinic to the next. That's why we cater to three different types of document coordinators.

  1. Authorizations and Referrals are handled by remote staff who get to know your payers and referring clinics. 
  2. Prescription Coordinators handle your refills, controlled substances metrics, and scheduling for patients on controlled substances.
  3. Your surgery and visit consultations require CPT knowledge and how to submit with 98% or higher accuracy to avoid performing a service without the fear of missing a collection.

Billing and Coding Expertise

Properly handling your entire RCM is something we can definitely provide, but if we are just filling in a few steps of the billing cycle then it's optimal to have us perform the coinciding steps. This way the hand off to onsite or other remote team members is faster and more precise.
